Job Overview

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Coordinator will provide full cycle accounting and payroll support, including coordination of accounts payable and receivable, property revenue share processing, and other accounting and reporting as required.

Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

Location(s): Edmonton, AB; Remote

Status: 1.0 (FTE); Permanent

Reports to: CFO

Physical Environment: Remote from home office or access to Corporate office

You will:

  • Providing various monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting and analysis as required
  • Processing of Sales Invoices & Cash Receipts
  • Processing of Property Revenue Shares & Payments, including the production of new “Traffic Reports” for buildings where we are contractually committed to sharing
  • Processing of vendor invoices & payments
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Maintain capital asset schedule
  • Maintain lease schedule and amortization schedules
  • Assisting with Year End Review/Audit Requirements
  • Payroll entry and processing, year end T4’s
  • Sales commission reporting and payment
  • Support Office Operations
  • Serve as building management liaison
  • Manage office supplies and mail

You Have


  • College/Technical School Diploma in Accounting an asset
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation an asset


  • 3-5 years of full cycle accounting / bookkeeping
  • 2+ years payroll administration

Required competencies/knowledge/skills/abilities:

  • Possess strong skills working with Microsoft Office Applications as well as Accounting Systems
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must have high detail orientation
